What are my lease renewal options?

Our standard lease requires two full calendar months’ notice if you decide to terminate your lease and vacate the property at the lease's end. But if you don't intend to vacate, you essentially have three different options:

  1. Renew your lease at a full 12-month term at the current fair market rent; this is usually a small increase over your existing rent amount
  2. Renew your lease for a non-standard lease term of anywhere between 3 months and 18 months for a higher rent amount and a monthly $25 admin fee.
  3. Continue your lease on a month-to-month basis with a 15% increase over your current monthly rent

Please note that Revolution Rental Management reserves the right not to allow a month-to-month or short-term lease depending upon the circumstances, and can terminate a month-to-month tenancy at any time with the minimum notice period required by the lease or the law. Therefore, if you have a minimum period of time you need to stay, it's essential to sign a formal lease renewal rather than going month-to-month.

The following are the rent premiums added on top of the normal fair market rent for non-standard lease terms:

To give notice of lease non-renewal, log in to your Resident Portal and submit the notice there. If you are wanting to renew your lease using a non-standard lease term, then you will receive an email when it is time for your lease renewal, and there will be a link for a form to fill out to request what period of time you want to renew your lease for.
